The People for People Compass is an international service intended for German- and English-speaking prospective clients and customers worldwide. Our customers may be located both within and outside the European Union and the European Economic Area (EU/EEA).
Where personal data is processed in connection with our services and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to such processing, we comply with the applicable requirements of the GDPR. In all other cases, the applicable data protection laws and regulations shall apply.
Personal data is processed only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, in particular to respond to enquiries, arrange appointments, perform and administer contracts, provide the Compass service and communicate with prospective clients and customers.
We use external service providers for certain technical services and for the administration of our contractual relationships. This may involve the processing of personal data outside the EU/EEA, particularly in the United States. Where applicable data protection laws require specific safeguards for such transfers, the appropriate data protection measures will be implemented.

We hold consultations via Zoom, provided by Zoom Communications, Inc., 55 Almaden Boulevard, San José, CA 95113, USA.
This involves processing your name, your email address, audio and video data during the call and technical connection data. No recordings are made unless you expressly consent in an individual case.

The forms on this website operate without third parties: your entries are stored directly in our own WordPress installation and forwarded to our mailbox.
Before a booked call we ask you about your family situation, your plans and your financial circumstances. You provide this information voluntarily. It serves solely to prepare the call and is not passed on to third parties without your express consent.
The questionnaire runs on our own WordPress installation; no form service provider is involved.

Retention: up to 24 months after the call, so that we can refer back to it if you have
follow-up questions. We will delete the information earlier on request.
As part of the Compass call we recommend expert partners to you. Your data is passed to those partners only with your prior express consent and only to the extent you release.

We use Stripe for payment, provided by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, D02 H210, Ireland.
If you pay by card, the data required is transmitted directly to Stripe and processed there: name, payment details, invoice amount and technical information such as IP address and browser identification. We never receive your full card details.
Stripe may transfer data to affiliated companies in the USA. This is based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Where payment is made by bank transfer, we process only the details required to allocate the incoming payment.
If you write to us by email, we store your message together with the sender details in order to deal with your request. Please note that transmission by email may have security gaps.
If you send us feedback, we publish it only where you have expressly consented. What is then published is your first name, your location and your text. You may withdraw your consent at any time; we will remove the contribution promptly.
This site does not itself set any cookies for analysis or advertising purposes. Embedded services such as Calendly may, however, set their own cookies that are necessary for them to function.
